Differentiation between PE and PVC cling films-
Firstly, the significant feature of PE cling film is that it has a wide range of applications. PE cling film can wrap oily food, and it can also be heated in a microwave. Additionally, tips for distinguishing different types of cling film:
1. Look at transparency. The transparency of PE cling film is poor, while the transparency of PVC cling film is better.
2. Pull experiment. PE cling film has low tension, while PVC cling film has high tension.
3. Fire experiment. PE cling film is easy to burn, drips oil, and has a candle smell; PVC cling film burns and emits black smoke, producing a pungent odor.
4. PVC cling film has much stronger self-adhesiveness than PE cling film.
